Back  by popular demand... another round of my Virtual Auditioning Intensive is coming in DECEMBER 2022 , formerly known as: ACTORS IN LOCKDOWN. Same format, new name because, well, it sounds less Covid-ish. But with flu season raging this winter, why not stay safe at a reasonable distance from the comfort of your own home, while learning how to master your self-tapes? Join this Virtual Auditioning Workshop for three evenings in early December. Why not give yourself an early gift of learning?

December 1, 5, & 7, 2022 on Zoom.
Taught by yours truly, Charla Bocchicchio.

In this intensive virtual auditioning workshop, we will focus on: General auditioning skills, Zoom auditions/callbacks and Self-Tape auditions. Including particular skills for commercial, theatrical and episodic auditions (they all require something different). Learn the best prac- tices for setting up your own at-home studio, regardless of your comfort level with all things technical and get useful tips to starting improving your virtual auditions immediately. Get all the auditioning help you need to master these virtual auditions and start booking. I will also incorporate some in-person audition tips in this session, as an occasional in-person audition is starting to resurface.

COST: $175

ZOOM invite with the meeting link will be given once payment is received.

Julie-Anne Liechty,

Acting Coach

If you want know how to book, take a class with the booking queen, Charla Bocchicchio. Her class is practical, informative and will help you with your auditions.

Kenna Stewart, student

Charla is an excellent coach. Her methods are simple and help even the most cerebral actors (like me) get out of their heads. She is giving and open with her help and sincerely wants each of her students to succeed. She has an abundant mentality and believes in everyone finding their place in this industry. She is clear in her direction and wants each student to understand. I appreciate her care and knowledge so much!

Tiffani DiGregorio, student

An informative and insightful Zoom seminar. It never ceases to amaze me how much I learn after 25 years in this business. Becoming my own lighting supervisor, sound tech, cinematographer, and editor has been a struggle, and I've felt insecure with my submissions. Thank you for providing me with the tools to make my future self-tapes and zoom auditions the best they can and SHOULD be. As I said before, you're the queen.

Jack Foriska, student

Charla is awesome to work with. Not only does she know how to connect and teach technique, her greatest teaching asset is she leads by example. She is the auditioning guru. I have worked with her in a small group and over Zoom and I am always very happy afterwards not only because I learned a lot but she is a really nice person. Her positive energy is infectious. Need I say more? OK, I will. If you are an actor in Utah or elsewhere for that matter you won't be sorry you attended her workshop.

Tonja Wells Henderson, mom of youth students

I'm seriously debating how to do this because I'm afraid so many people will book her she won't be able to fit me in her schedule.😀 Okay, I LOVE Charla. She's knowledgeable, professional, and so easy to work with. She has coached and filmed my girls for auditions and they feel comfortable with her and confident gong into the audition - she has a way of coaching that is constructive and creative, never critical. She's amazing.

Vanessa Mijares, student

THANK GOD for Charla Bocchicchio!!!  I’m learning how to get out of my “Actor’s Brain” as she calls it, in order to explore my emotions more in-depth to bring those out in front of the camera and on set, developing new and natural skills effectively, and to make sure we are still having fun in the process.
She’s the real deal y’all! Book her for 1:1 acting sessions or come to her audition classes
